Hours of work

37.5 hours per week (hours of work will be flexible and dictated by the needs of the business, therefore it is expected that the successful applicant will work those hours necessary to successfully discharge the duties of the role).

The Role

Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to become the face and point of contact for Pure Retirement across the country. You will identify, qualify and build high-level relationships with new and existing business prospects and promote the company's proposition and meet stretching financial targets. You'll condut face to face appointments across the networks, clubs and national accounts, provide updates on our products and criteria as well as gaining feedback and building strong commercial relationships. You will be expected to always represent Pure Retirement in a positive and professional manner, as you will be the face of our company to all our advisers and business partners across the country.

Key Outputs

  • To build strong relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with current trends within the market.
  • To take full ownership of the networks, clubs, national adviser firms and all events with national coverage.
  • To possess a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition in the industry and our marketing proposition.
  • To work closely with the marketing team to help develop and run campaigns
  • To not only push and develop new business for Pure Retirement but promote equity release as an industry and work with our key partners within the mortgage industry to build equity release.
  • Conduct 1-2-1 meetings with our key partners, attend network events, panel discussions and webinars, presenting on platforms and roundtables.
  • To push and promote Pure's involvement in Equity Release events held by the clubs and networks and at each event drive our proposition and recognise opportunities for new business.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly KPI's based on activity and quality.
  • Ensure that all activity is accurately documented and kept up to date in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with your regional BDM Team to ensure all advisers get the service and support they require, liaising on diaries events and appointments to ensure any opportunities are pursued.
  • To work closely with the National Account Manager to cover our specialist advisers within your panel, promoting Pure Retirement, gathering feedback and providing product and criteria training where necessary with individual advisers.
  • To be an expert in diary management and organisation focusing on quality appointments and event attendance whilst managing mileage and travel times.
  • Report writing to analyse network/club performance and spot new opportunities.
  • To work closely with the Sales Operations Manager, National Field Sales Manager, and the marketing department, to bring the face-to-face and telephony representation of Pure Retirement together in a collaborative manner.
  • To work independently to drive Pure Retirement forward within the national accounts, networks, and clubs that you take ownership of, as well as working with the wider sales team for the running of campaigns, collating feedback.

Overview

The role of a National Account Manager is varied, no day is the same. The person must be outgoing, confident, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly this person must be memorable in a crowded room and comfortable presenting to large numbers. This person must be self-motivated and goal oriented. They must be a team player with outstanding personable skills and a passion for advisor education and business development.

Skills & Experience

Mandatory

  • Proven track record in similar responsibilities
  • Experience managing relationships and data.
  • Experience presenting to large numbers and on a platform
  • Experience in a field-based role with large amounts of travel
  • Knowledge of the industry and financial services experience.

Desirable

  • Equity Release experience
  • Knowledge of Pure Retirement
  • Experience dealing with mortgage networks and clubs

Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Clean Driving Licence

Desirable

  • CeMAP / CeRER
